United Learning’s Deputy Director of People, Lindsay Batchford has won HR Magazine’s prestigious Practitioner of the Year in the 2015 HR Excellence Awards.
This is one of the only awards given to an individual and celebrates the excellent contribution that Lindsay makes to our Group.
After accepting the award at the ceremony in London, Lindsay said:
“I am surprised and delighted to have won this award. I love working at United Learning and although this recognition is in my name, it is really a team award for everyone in the HR and People division. It is lovely to have won this as it shows how people internally and externally value what our team does.”
In selecting Lindsay as HR Practitioner of the Year, the judges stated how impressed they were by her track record, her ability to gain the trust and respect of a wide range of stakeholders and her achievement of significant business outcomes in carrying out her role”.
