Guildford High School students celebrated an outstanding set of A Level results today

40% of grades awarded were A*, with 98% of grades at A*-B. In a year group of 77, 58 students have achieved three or more A*/A grades, with 11 students achieving three or more A* grades.

Mrs Fiona Boulton, Headmistress, commented, “Our 2015 leavers have been a wonderful group of girls throughout their time at Guildford High School. They are bright, talented and focused, not only academically but in sport, music and drama. These outstanding results, the outcome of their effort combined with outstanding teaching and support, will allow them to pursue exciting higher education opportunities and we wish them all great success for the future.”

16% of the girls going on to UK universities this autumn are taking up places at Oxford or Cambridge.
