The whole AKS school community is congratulating its Sixth Form students on taking up their chosen university places after the awarding of A Levels today.

It has been another excellent year for GCSE students at AKS, which builds on last year’s impressive results. A third of all students got at least five grades at 8 or 9, which is equivalent to an A* in the previous grading system, and 51% of all grades achieved were a 9, 8 or 7 (equivalent to A*/A).

Year 11 students at AKS Lytham today are celebrating their GCSE and IGCSE grades.

AKS Lytham has marked the climax of the sporting year with a second Sports Celebration Evening recognising the achievements of the school’s athletes.

Pupils greeted two cyclists on a marathon trek and also helped to raise cash for Sport Relief.

Last week, over 500 students aged 9 to 16 took part in two regional music and arts showcases as part of United Learning’s national 2017 cultural celebration – IDeas Festival.

Over 380 students and staff from 14 schools across United Learning will be collaborating next week for the Group’s first Performing Arts Festival.

This week, primary pupils from 15 schools across United Learning came together to celebrate their social action initiatives at a special graduation ceremony held at Barclays HQ in Canary Wharf, London.  

AKS Lytham celebrated its best ever A Level results last week, making it the leading independent school in the county, and GCSE students found out today that they have achieved their own remarkable set of record-breaking statistics.
