Teachers who want pupils to take risks should lead by example, a private school leader has said.

Last week, Year 12 pupil Sophia from Kettering Buccleuch Academy was announced as winner of United Learning’s Group Art Competition for 2018.

Last week, at three events around the country, over 80 pupils from United Learning’s primary academies and prep schools gathered to learn about becoming leaders in their own communities.

An inspirational schoolboy has been recognised by a Mayor after raising thousands of pounds for charity in memory of his mum.

United Learning has just announced the winners of its very own Oscars.  The United Learning Film Awards (ULFAs) challenged pupils in both the Group’s primary and secondary schools to make short films as part of the IDeas Festival – a national event for all of the Group’s schools to explore their local, regional and national identities.

Last week, over 500 students aged 9 to 16 took part in two regional music and arts showcases as part of United Learning’s national 2017 cultural celebration – IDeas Festival.

Today United Learning celebrated the outstanding achievements of its primary pupils and staff at a special awards ceremony.  The Best in Everyone Primary Awards were presented to pupils and staff from across the Group’s primary schools during a ceremony at the House of Lords.

Over 380 students and staff from 14 schools across United Learning will be collaborating next week for the Group’s first Performing Arts Festival.

There are celebrations at Ashford School after nearly half of all students achieved the grades needed for entry into the elite universities. 

Ashford School has hosted a national residential workshop for A Level students from around the country who normally only meet via their online lessons.
