Students and staff at Wye School are celebrating the awarding of GCSE qualifications today, after another challenging year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Sixth Formers at Wye School are set to take up places at some of the UK’s top universities, as they receive their A Level grades today.

Celebrations are underway at Wye School after its second set of GCSE students secure very strong results.

Six Year 12 students from Wye School 6th Form met the Prime Minister, the Education Secretary and the Schools Minister to discuss their art work which was displayed in the White Drawing Room of 10 Downing Street for the day. The White Drawing Room is where the Prime Minister meets visiting Heads of State and the Wye School art was displayed alongside old masters including two paintings by Turner.

This term, Year 11 students taking part in United Access, United Learning’s four-year scheme to increase student admission to higher education, met back up with their university mentors to discuss their progress so far.
