Students at Newstead Wood School are celebrating A Level results today in which 36% of grades were awarded A* or A grades and 67% of grades were awarded A* to B.
Notable successes include:
- Molly Carew, who received 3 A*s in Biology, Politics and Psychology;
- Magda Cienciala, who was awarded 3 A*s in German, History and Politics;
- Isabel Freedman, who received 3 A*s in Classical Civilisation, English Literature and History.
18 other students received A* or A in every subject and will now go on to universities including Cambridge, Durham, Sheffield and Exeter to read subjects including HSPS, History and Spanish, Medicine and Biochemistry.
