Peter Mulholland, Principal of William Hulme’s Grammar School, said:

“I am delighted for our Sixth Form students, who are celebrating some excellent results today. In particular, I am very pleased for all those who have received the grades they need to take up the university place of their choice and to take the first steps towards the professions and careers to which they aspire.

“High achievement in the Sixth Form cascades down, encouraging our younger students to believe in their own ability and demonstrating what hard work can achieve. It is also testament to the commitment and enthusiasm of our staff who work closely alongside our Sixth Form students and are always on hand to give them the extra support they need to push themselves that bit further.

“We are also delighted to be opening our new Sixth Form Centre in September 2017. I know that these results and destinations will set a strong example for our new cohort, inspiring them to strive for equally high standards and aim for even better outcomes in the future.”
