MiSST is supported by the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation and helps to fund classical music programmes at schools across the UK 

Pupils competed against over 160 entries from children aged 6-13 from over 70 of the world’s leading schools.

This academic year, students at Barnsley Academy have been working on new eco-initiatives to support their school and local community to engage with the global fight against climate change.

Pupils and parents said to talk highly of the school, with children “enjoying their learning” and appreciated as individuals

This month, a group of Year 10 students from The Hyndburn Academy in Rishton travelled to Morocco as part of the new UK Turing Scheme, with another group heading to Eswatini in July.

So far, students, staff and parents have raised nearly £5,000 for the Cambridge Acorn Project and DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal
