A Year 13 student at Lambeth Academy has wowed her teachers and peers by launching her very own graphic novel, which she wrote and illustrated as part of her Sixth Form studies. 

Students and staff at Lambeth Academy are celebrating once again this week, as GCSE qualifications are awarded today – following Tuesday’s highlights, when Sixth Formers secured their university offers.

Lambeth Academy’s Sixth Formers are set to take up places on some of the UK’s most prestigious and competitive university courses – with one young aspiring medic heading to the University of Cambridge.

Today, students at Lambeth Academy on Elms Road got the chance to quiz their local MP on what it is like to work in politics, as part of a week-long careers experience. 

School judged to be ‘Good’ in all areas, including quality of education, leadership and management and students’ behaviour and attitudes.

Students take part in a week of themed lunchtime activities to learn more about Chinese popular culture. Activities designed to complement students’ Mandarin lessons as part of an ‘Education with Character’.

17 Year 10 students attended an Easter residential at Caterham School last week as part of United Learning’s four-year university access programme United Access.
