Students at Seahaven Academy are today celebrating their GCSE results, after 46% of them achieved at least five A*-C grades including English and maths.
This is an increase of nine percentage points on last year’s results, which saw 37% of students achieving the same benchmark.
There were also some excellent individual successes:
- Rhiannon Read 2 x A* and 8 x A grades;
- Tyler Rutherford 4 x A*, 3 x A, 3 x B grades;
- Harriet Woolgar 6 x A*, 3 x A grades;
- Francesco Redica 3 x A*, 4 x A, 2 X B, 2 X C grades;
- Remi Hickman 1 X A*, 2 X A, 6 X B grades.
Seahaven Academy Principal, Sarah Pringle, said:
