Sheffield Park Academy students were given an insight into the legal world when they took part in an question and answer session with the President of the Supreme Court, Lady Hale.
The session formed part of the Supreme Court’s ‘Ask A Justice’ initiative, giving students the opportunity to have a live question and answer session with a Justice.
Sheffield Park Academy is one of only 12 schools across the country to have been selected to take part in this new initiative. Speaking via video link with the first female Justice of the Supreme Court, the students asked her about her illustrious legal career and about the challenges she has faced along the way.
Sheffield Park Academy Principal Debbie McShane said:
"As part of our commitment to provide an Education with Character, we are always looking for new and exciting opportunities to help broaden our students’ horizons and the session with Lady Hale proved to be both inspiring and aspirational.”
