Surbiton High School staff, students and parents are celebrating another set of outstanding A-level results for 2019.

Nearly 60% of all grades achieved were A* – A, with 39 students achieving 3 or more A* – A grades. Almost 90% of all grades achieved were A* – B with 15 students achieving at least 2 A* grades.

Rebecca Glover, Principal, commented:  “It is wonderful to see the strong set of A-level results once again this year, which is due to the commitment and hard work from both our students and the dedicated teaching team. Their focus, ability and holistic education will ensure they have a fulfilling career, where they see no boundaries in what they can achieve. These able students leave us well-equipped for an exciting life and career beyond Surbiton High School and we look forward to seeing their journey unfold.”

Specific successes for individual subjects include 80% of Further Mathematics grades at A* - A, 42% of Psychology grades at A*, 42% of Fine Art grades at A* and 25% or more of all Business, D & T Textiles, Drama and Theatre Studies, History, Mathematics, Photography and Politics grades were A*.
