Following last week's excellent A Level results in which around three quarters (74%) of all entries were graded A* to C (a significant uplift of 27 percentage points from last year), Ernest Bevin Academy Sixth Form are looking forward to seeing many of their students continue their academic journey at the school in September.
Damola Ademolake, Principal at Ernest Bevin Academy, said of pupils’ achievements:
“As a Principal it is always a privilege to see students celebrating some excellent achievements and reflecting on what their effort and ambition has secured for them. The qualifications they have gained today are of course important for opening doors to further education and study, but the values our students display are also vital to unlock success.
“Among the individual successes it is also gratifying to see improvements on all key headline measures across the whole cohort. We look forward to welcoming many of these students back this Autumn to continue their studies at our Sixth Form and we wish all of them well as they take their next steps.”
