United Teaching is an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ teacher training programme with a strong presence in schools across England. Part of the United Learning group, our teacher training programme extends to over 100 primary, secondary and independent schools. Over the past decade, United Teaching has played a pivotal role in nurturing exceptional educators, empowering them to lead, inspire, and drive meaningful change in the classroom, ultimately bringing out the best in everyone.
The trainees spend most of the year in a placement school, allowing them to build strong relationships with students and colleagues as they work toward a teaching qualification. As a school-centered initial teacher training programme, trainees teach from day one and achieve QTS at the end of the academic year.
Many of our trainees continue to contribute to the success of United Learning schools. Following their training, the majority are offered full-time positions in their placement schools. As they progress in their careers, they often take on leadership roles, playing a key part in improving pupil outcomes within their communities.
