With many of the school’s students gaining a raft of the top grades, including two students who achieved ten grade 9s each, these impressive results reflect the school’s rapid rise in academic standards.
This was highlighted most recently by Ofsted during an inspection held in December 2024 where the school maintained its ‘good’ grading, with Ofsted praising the school for rising standards, strong behaviour and inclusive practice.
Among those students celebrating are:
- Emily, who achieved ten grade 9s;
- Bernice, who achieved ten grade 9s and one grade 8;
- Daniel, who achieved seven grade 9s and two grade 7s;
- Rotem, who achieved six grade 9s and four grade 8s;
- Vova, who achieved five grade 9s, two grade 8s and one grade 7;
- Abid, who achieved two grade 9s, seven grade 8s and one grade 7.

“The team at Coleridge have shown what’s possible when you set the bar high and stick to it. We’re proud of these results, but even more proud of the kind of school Coleridge has become - ambitious, caring, outward-looking and grounded in its community.”
Matt Oughton, Principal of Coleridge Community College, said:
“We are thrilled with our GCSE results and the excellent journey of improvement Coleridge has been on. Students and staff alike have worked exceptionally hard to achieve such strong results and I would like to thank them for their commitment and ambition. Looking to the future, we are excited to build upon these results to ensure all students at Coleridge receive an enriching, stimulating and rewarding education. Many congratulations to our students receiving results today – I hope they feel proud of their achievements.”
