This year, 75% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in English and maths, whilst 57% achieved a grade 5 or above in the two core subjects.
With these strong sets of results under their belts, many of the school’s students are now looking forward to continuing their studies at Swindon Academy’s thriving Sixth Form in September.
Among those students celebrating are:
- Gnana Varshitha, who achieved seven grade 9s, one grade 8 and one grade 7;
- Janicia, who achieved six grade 9s and two grade 8s;
- Jai, who achieved six grade 9s and three grade 8s;
- Zunaid, who achieved five grade 9s, three grade 8s and one grade 7;
- Nicole, who achieved four grade 9s, two grade 8s and two grade 7s.
Gnana Varshitha said:

"The extra resources the teachers gave really helped me get my results."
Ruben said:
"I’m really happy - I'm going to study Biology and Chemistry in September. I can't wait!"
These excellent results come off the back of a successful set of A Level results, which have enabled the school's departing Year 13s to successfully take their next steps into university or the world of work.
