Holland Park School was celebrating yesterday morning after its Year 13 students achieved an excellent set of A Level results. An impressive three quarters of entries achieved A*-B grades with almost half of all entries achieving the top A*-A grades. These results are significantly higher than those achieved last year reflecting the school’s commitment to high academic standards.
Among those celebrating were:
- Aliana Al-Khalil who achieved four A*s and will study Economics and Statistics at University College London;
- Eden Reid who achieved four A*s and will study Computer Science at the University of Cambridge;
- Remy Lalo who achieved four A*s and will study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cambridge;
- Andre Bouverie who achieved three A*s and will study Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London.
Commenting on the results, Dame Sally Coates, Principal at Holland Park School, said:
“It has been fantastic watching the students open their results and realise that all their hard work has paid off. Students have achieved an exceptional set of grades across a range of academic subjects reflecting the high aspirations we have for our students.
“These results follow the very strong Ofsted inspection we received earlier this year which found that our students are very well prepared for their next steps. Students have secured places on some highly competitive university courses and I have every confidence that they will thrive as they embark on the next stage of their education.”
