Congratulating students and staff at the academies, Principal Stuart Ingram, said:
“We are delighted to see another set of record GCSEs today for students at both schools. The students have worked incredibly hard all year and these results are a fitting reward. Thank you to our fantastic teachers who have worked tirelessly to ensure each student is able to achieve their very best.
“After ten years of outstanding service Ben Antell leaves Glenmoor and Winton and I know he is as proud as me of the continuing success at the academies.
“These results are the perfect end to the academic year in which both schools were judged ‘Outstanding’.”
