Many of the students will now be preparing to return to Bacon’s College to continue their studies at A Level and for vocational pathways. The school’s Sixth Form celebrated its own successes last week, in a day which saw a number of excellent individual performances and many students securing top university places.
This included one student confirming their place to study Medicine at King’s College London and another going on to study Chemistry at University College London.
Commenting on students’ achievements, James Wilson, Principal at Bacon’s College, said:
“We are very proud of the hard work, determination and character displayed by this group of Year 11 students and pleased that this has resulted in some excellent outcomes for them. It has been brilliant to see so many students celebrating and looking ahead with excitement and confidence to the next stages of their school careers.
“It is particularly gratifying that so many of them are choosing to return to our Sixth Form to continue their studies at A Level. We look forward to welcoming them back very soon and congratulate each of them as they celebrate today.”
