Holland Park School Celebrates A Level Results

Sixth Formers at Holland Park School in London have been celebrating this morning, as students around the country receive their A Level results.

As well as another strong showing across the year group as nearly 40% achieved A /A* grades, there were some standout individual successes, with Sixth Formers gaining the grades they need to secure places at their universities of choice.

This includes Hussain Murad, Lorenzo Rotondi and Greta Zordan who all achieved three of the top A* grades this year. Hussain will now be going on to study European Politics at King’s College London, while Lorenzo will be studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics at University College London and Greta will take up a place at the University of Oxford to read Biology.

Other students celebrating their performances today include:

  • Clementine Parker, who achieved two A* grades and will be studying Architecture at the University of Liverpool;
  • Edward Marin, who also achieved two A* grades and will be studying Computer Science at the University of Warwick;
  • Rosita Mohammadzadeh, who achieved A*AA and will go on to study Biomedical Science at Imperial College London;
  • Malak Bieeu will be reading Religion and Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Oxford
  • Abdellah Zinet will be going on to study Medicine at Queen Mary’s University of London

Dame Sally Coates, Principal at Holland Park School, said:

“I would like to congratulate all our students who are celebrating today. Each student has worked incredibly hard for what they have achieved and can now go on to the next stage of their education confident in their ability to succeed. Of course, today we are celebrating our academic success but a great education is about much more besides. That is why excellent schools like Holland Park ensure that students get a far more extensive set of opportunities than purely their academic learning.”
