Almost three quarters of A Level entries were graded A* to B, with 43% of entries awarded the top A* and A grades. This is an excellent set of results reflecting the school’s strong academic standards and high aspirations for its pupils.

There were particularly strong performances in Mathematics with over half of entries achieving A* and A grades.  These results mean that students have been able to secure places on highly competitive Mathematics courses at some of the country’s leading universities.  These include:

• Frank Smith who achieved four A*s and will now read Mathematics and Statistics at the London School of Economics; 
• Oscar Wood who achieved two A*s and two As and will now read Mathematics and Physics at the University of Bath;
• Ethan Aldridge who achieved two A*s and one A and will now read Mathematics at the University of Warwick.

Other top performing students include:

• Elsie Miller who achieved two A*s and one A securing a place to read Psychology at King’s College London;
• Mehrunissa Iqbal who secured two A*s and one A;
• Cameron Townsend and Elizabete Dikule-Dikale who both secured D*,D*, D in Sport.
