Alongside these results marking a positive improvement in outcomes in comparison to last year, the school has also seen a greater proportion of their pupils applying to university or aspirational alternatives.

Some of the school’s individual pupil successes include:

• Kirill Ulajev, who was awarded two A*s in Mathematics and Further Mathematics and a B in Physics, and is going to the University of Southampton to study Mathematics;
• Lilly Wonacott, who was awarded three As in Fine Art, Media Studies and Psychology, and is going to Royal Holloway, University of London to study Classical Studies and Drama;
• Max Rees, who was awarded two As in English Literature and History and a Distinction* in Sports Studies, and is taking a gap year with aspirations to study a Law degree;
• Tymofii Andreiev, who was awarded two As in Mathematics and Further Mathematics and a B in History, and is going to Lancaster University to study Mathematics;
• Riyah Hussain, who was awarded, two As in English Literature and Religious Studies and a B in Psychology and is going to Queen Mary University of London to study Accounting and Finance.

Speaking of his achievements Kirill said:

“I have really enjoyed my two years at United Sixth Form and would particularly like to thank the Maths Department and Mr Sacchi for inspiring me and supporting me to achieve the A* grades. I look forward to continuing my Mathematics studies at university.”
