Many of the school’s students achieved some of the top grades, including a number of the most sought-after grade 9s.
Among those students celebrating are:
- Jack, who achieved nine grade 9s and three grades 8s;
- Theo, who achieved eight grade 9s and two grade 8s;
- Alba, who achieved eight grade 9s, one grade 8 and one grade 7;
- Dylan, who achieved six grades 9s and five grade 8s.
Dylan said:
“My results today were really high; I did really well. I’m thankful for my teachers and my parents for all their hard work and it’s really nice to have this feeling.”
Jack said:
“I’m feeling over the moon! I’m really pleased that the hard work I’ve put in over the past five years and the wonderful education my teachers have given me has paid off.”
Dee Wallace, Principal of Parkside Community College, said:
“Huge congratulations to our students receiving their GCSE results today. All of us at Parkside are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication and resilience our students have shown, resulting in these strong sets of grades. I hope students feel a sense of accomplishment picking up their results today and can enjoy celebrating with their friends and family.
