Mel Haselden, Principal at Salford City Academy, said:

“Well done to all our Year 11 students picking up their GCSE results today. After beginning their secondary school journey in the midst of the pandemic, this cohort has overcome many obstacles to achieve what they have today and should be very proud of the resilience and determination they have shown. With the support of our excellent teams of staff and our fantastic parent community, our students are now able to take their next steps with confidence and I have no doubt that they will go on to bright futures.”
