This year, 59% of pupils achieved a Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths with many enjoying top scores across a variety of subjects.
Among those celebrating were:
- Charlie secured an outstanding four Grade 9s in Chemistry, Maths, Physics and Engineering, alongside Grade 8s in Biology and English Literature. A remarkable demonstration of both academic breadth and depth.
- Jorja achieved an excellent set of outcomes, including a Grade 9 in Performing Arts and an impressive Grade 8 in Biology, Maths and Physics. A fantastic combination of creative talent and academic strength from an exceptional student.
- Olivia excelled across both creative and academic subjects, achieving Grade 9s in Art and Performing Arts, alongside Grade 8s in Spanish, Combined Science and Maths. An outstanding set of results that showcases Olivia’s versatility and commitment.
- Danielle achieved an extraordinary six Grade 9s in Biology, Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics and Maths. A truly remarkable achievement and an outstanding example of academic excellence.
- Evie achieved an excellent set of results, including a brilliant Grade 9 in Art and Grade 8s in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics. A particularly impressive combination of creative flair and academic achievement.
Jorja said “I am really grateful to all the teachers who helped me achieve my best”.
Olivia said “Thanks for supporting me get the results I achieved. I’ve really enjoyed my 5 years at Morton Academy”.
Danielle said “ I’m really pleased with my results and am looking forward to going to Central Academy Sixth Form to study A-levels”.

As they come to the end of their time at Morton, it is very gratifying to see them fulfil their ambition and, in many cases, exceed their potential. Many will now go on to join the Sixth Form at Central Academy and, from there, to university or excellent apprenticeships.
