Among those students celebrating a raft of the very top grades are:
- Noora, who achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s and one grade 7;
- Zara, who achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s and one Level 2 Distinction;
- Damian, who achieved three grade 9s, three grade 8s, two grade 7s and one Level 2 Distinction;
- Nathan, who achieved three grade 9s, four grade 8s, one grade 7 and on grade 6;
- Millie, who achieved two grade 9s, four grade 8s, one grade 7, one grade 6 and one Level 2 Distinction.
Noora said:
“I’m really pleased with my results. The effort I put in has paid off and I’ve achieved exactly what I worked so hard for.”
Zara added:
“I’m so happy with my results – all the hard work has really paid off!”
Damian commented:
“I’m over the moon with my results and proud to have achieved three grade 9s. This gives me the best possible start towards my dream career in space engineering.”
Chris Leader, Principal at Irlam and Cadishead Academy, said:
