"It was a bumpy road, but all of my teachers believed in me every step of the way. I'm thrilled with my results, particularly my chemistry result (thanks to Mrs Baillie). I will be attending Sixth Form at Accrington Academy and can't wait to begin my new journey."
Jamie Peel, Principal at Accrington Academy, said:
“Well done to all students celebrating their achievements at GCSE today. Given the disruption they too faced due to the pandemic, students should be particularly proud of themselves and the resilience they have shown throughout their studies. These qualifications will allow students to take their next steps into further education and beyond, setting them up for successful futures. I wish everyone all the very best and look forward to welcoming many of our students back for Sixth Form, where I am sure they will continue to show the same admirable commitment to their learning.”
