Godolphin’s Head of Lacrosse Jamie Powell says “The Challenge Cup marked the first step towards achieving our goals this season. The team started strong and gained confidence with every game, progressing steadily through the tournament.
Reaching the final brought some nerves, with memories of last season's second-place finish at Nationals in mind. They delivered an outstanding performance, showcasing strong, controlled defence and clinical finishing in attack to dominate the game from start to finish.
It was a fantastic day for the team, made even better by the incredible support from parents and spectators. We couldn’t have asked for more!”
Godolphin Head, Jenny Price says “Congratulations to the team for their historic victory and for showcasing the very best of Godolphin lacrosse. Our thanks to England Lacrosse for organising the event and to our excellent hosts St Swithun’s School.”
