Congratulating the students, Janine McCann, Principal at Stockport Academy said:
“I am so very pleased for our students who are celebrating their success today. Exams have been marked and graded this year in line with pre-pandemic standards and we are delighted that our students have done themselves justice.
“Their hard work, determination and resilience are to be applauded and it has been lovely today to see students celebrating with each other and with their teachers as they’ve opened their results. With these qualifications under their belts, we look forward to our students taking up places in local Sixth Forms or entering the workplace through apprenticeships.”
