This year, almost three quarters (73%) of students achieved a grade 4 or above in English and maths, whilst over half (57%) achieved a grade 5 or above in the two core subjects.
In particular, a number of students gained a raft of the very top grades, including many sought after grade 9s. Among those students celebrating are:
- Imogen, who achieved nine grade 9s and two grade 8s;
- Lyra, who achieved seven grade 9s and four grade 8s;
- Lucy, who achieved seven grade 9s, two grade 8s and a grade 7;
- Eloise, who achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s and two grade 7s;
- Keira, who achieved five grade 9s, two grade 8s, two grade 7s and a grade 6;
- Julia, who achieved five grade 9s, a grade 8, two grade 7s and two grade 6s;
- Jayden, who achieved five grade 9s, four grade 8s and two grade 6s;
- Oliver, who achieved four grade 9s, four grade 8s, two grade 7s and a grade 6;
- Eddie, who achieved four grade 9s, four grade 8s and three grade 6s.
These impressive results follow last week’s A Level success, which saw students secure places at a range of prestigious universities, including the University of Edinburgh and the University of Warwick.
With these fantastic results under their belts, many of the school’s students are looking forward to continuing their studies at Huish’s Sixth Form in September.
Katie Boyes, Principal of Huish Episcopi Academy, said:
“Congratulations to all our students on their hard work and success. We are also deeply grateful to our dedicated staff, who have guided and supported students throughout their journey, and to parents and families, whose encouragement and partnership have been invaluable.
“As our students move forward, many into Huish Sixth Form, we are excited to continue supporting them as they take the next steps in their education. Today’s results are a testament to their efforts and to the strength of our whole school community.”
