Muby said:
“I’m in complete disbelief and so grateful for all the hard work put in by teachers and staff at Walthamstow Academy. I’m so proud of myself and all my peers. I couldn’t imagine a better end result. Now I can’t wait for my journey to continue in Sixth Form!”

Rafael added:
“I wouldn't have made it this far without all the teachers at Walthamstow Academy helping me. I am excited for the next step and to continue studying at Sixth Form. I feel really proud of what I have accomplished, so now I can relax for bit knowing all my hard work has paid off!”

This follows on from last week’s A Level success at Walthamstow Academy, which saw over a third of Sixth Formers who applied to university secure places at top Russell Group institutions. One student, Maira, is off to the University of Oxford to study Material Science.
Emma Skae, Principal at Walthamstow Academy, said:
Congratulations to all our GCSE students who are celebrating their results today. Our students, supported by the brilliant teaching and relentless care and guidance provided by our staff, have achieved great results which will stand them in very good stead for their next steps. We are so pleased that many of our Year 11s will remain with us into Sixth Form because they know us, they trust us, and they feel confident and supported. Well done again all.”
