Joy at Huish Episcopi Academy as Students Celebrate A Level Results

Students and staff at Huish Episcopi Academy are celebrating today after A Levels were awarded across the country.

With strong sets of results under their belts, students are now excited to take up their places at a range of prestigious universities.
Among those students celebrating today are:
  • Aston Desmier, who is going to study Mathematics at the University of Bath after achieving an A*, two As and a B
  • Will McPherson, who is going to study Motor Sport Engineering at the University of Wales Trinity St David after achieving an A* and two As
  • Gaelle Royds, who is going to study Social Work at Lancaster University after achieving an A*, an A and a B
  • Martha MacPherson, who is going to study Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University after achieving four As
  • Katie Whitehead, who is going to study Chemistry at the University of Warwick after achieving three As and a B
  • Phoebe Buckley, who is going to study Psychology at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College after achieving two As and a Distinction
  • Samuel George, who is going to study Medical Sciences at the University of Plymouth after achieving three As
  • Alexander Armstrong, who is going on to study Mathematics at Loughborough University after achieving two As and a B
  • Eliot Buckland, who is going to study Neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh after achieving two As and a B
  • Natasha Murray, who is going to study History at the University of Exeter after achieving two As and a B
Katie Boyes, Principal of Huish Episcopi Academy, said:

“What is particularly pleasing is the breadth of success across all subject areas from the sciences and mathematics to the arts, humanities and vocational qualifications, demonstrating the strength and diversity of our curriculum. These results are the culmination of countless hours of learning, practice and personal dedication. Today’s achievements are a testament to the commitment of the entire Huish community.
