Speaking of the support their child has received at Central, one parent at the school said:
“The school could not have supported my son more during his secondary school journey. He has not always found it easy but the pastoral and academic support he has received has resulted in him achieving above and beyond.”
Another parent added:
“Central Academy is amazing. We have had a great experience being part of the school for the last five years.”
Today’s results day follows on from last week’s A Level and BTEC success, which saw Sixth Formers at Central Academy secure places at their universities of choice. The Year 13 students are going on to study a wide range of courses – from Law to Performing Arts – highlighting the breadth of their interests and talents. Many of the school’s outgoing GCSE students will be taking up places at the Sixth Form in September.
Dan Markham, Principal at Central Academy, said:
Congratulations to our GCSE students collecting their results today. I am pleased to see their efforts over the past two years have been rewarded with some excellent grades of which they can be very proud. Thank you to staff across the school for their enduring efforts and the support, advice and guidance they provide to our young people. We look forward to welcoming many of our Year 11 students into our Sixth Form in September where I am confident they will continue to thrive.
