The Partnership Team

At United Learning we seek to offer our pupils academic rigour combined with a rich wider educational experience.

We know our pupils need both a good academic record and a number of key attributes – intellectual curiosity, confidence, resilience, and creativity – if they are to go on to fulfilling and successful later lives.

Our Partnerships Team fosters collaboration between our schools and raises money so that our staff and students can access academic, sporting and cultural experiences that no individual school could offer alone. They also cultivate partnerships between the group and leading organisations, to provide our students with the very finest opportunities and experiences.

Thanks to our generous donors, we have been able to invest over £2 million in providing a huge variety of programmes across the country over the last three years, directly benefitting hundreds of teachers and over 37,000 students.

Our activities encompass training for teachers, music, sport, drama, art, public speaking, enterprise, and social action. They draw on the highest standards of excellence and use the most inspirational venues. And they help ensure that all the pupils we serve, many of whom come from the poorest communities in our country, have the best possible chance to achieve their full potential.

Further information on the kinds of activities we offer is available in our enrichment page.  If you are interested in supporting the work of the Partnerships Team, please see our support us page.

In July 2014, we set up the Partnership Fund to help us deliver on this vision.

The Partnership Fund raises money and fosters collaboration between schools so as to give staff and students academic, sporting and cultural experiences that no individual school could offer alone.

The Partnership is made up of all schools across United Learning and ten associate independent schools from among the most prestigious in the country (including City of London School, Marlborough College and St Paul’s School). Thanks to our generous donors, we have been able to invest over £2 million in providing a huge variety of enrichment opportunities across the country over the last three years, directly benefitting hundreds of teachers and over 37,000 students.

Our activities encompass subject-specific training for teachers, music, sport, drama, art, public speaking, enterprise, and social action. They enable pupils from different schools and backgrounds to come together in competition and collaboration.  They draw on the highest standards of excellence and use the most inspirational venues. And they help ensure that all the pupils we serve, many of whom come from the poorest communities in our country, have the best possible chance to achieve their full potential.
