A Level Success at Greenacre School

Karla Boxall, Greenacre School’s third Head Girl in four years to be offered an Oxbridge University place convincingly confirmed her admission to Newnham College, Cambridge to read Geography by achieving A*AA in her A level results today.  Deputy Head Girl Caitlin McDowell mirrored Karla’s results with outstanding A*AA grades clinching her place at York University and Deputy Head Girl Lucie Hart will be joining Exeter University with ABB grades.  (Head Girls are pictured.)

Overall, Year 13 students at Greenacre School achieved 85% A*- C grades with over 40% of grades at A*-A. With a number of places till to be confirmed by UCAS, 75% of girls already have confirmed places at their first choice university destination and 50% will be studying at prestigious Russell Group universities next term.

Headmistress Lindsay Redding said “We are thrilled with these results, representing the hard work of both the girls, and our staff in supporting each one of our pupils to be the very best they can be and achieve beyond their expectations.”

Greenacre also reported solid AS Level results with 67% of grades at A-C.  Sophie Archer, next year’s Head Girl, gained straight A grades in all four subjects.
