As Kettering Buccleuch Academy’s youngest pupils returned to school after the half term break on Monday, there was an added cause for celebration as their new Early Years outdoor area was officially opened.  Scott Edwards, Mayor of Kettering, cut the ribbon to officially open the new area which comprises an array of exciting play equipment including a sandpit and performance space.

Avonwood Primary School in Bournemouth has received a highly encouraging Ofsted report.  The inspection, which was carried out as part of the process to establish Avonwood as a stand-alone school, highlighted some particular strengths of the school and confirmed that the school is likely to meet all the relevant standards when a full inspection is carried out.
