Last week a group of Sheffield Springs Academy Year 11 students joined their peers at Guildford High School for a day of activities aimed at raising aspirations.
Pupils, parents and staff at Guildford High School are celebrating exceptional GCSE results this year. Of the new specification GCSEs, 72% of the numerical grades were awarded Grade 9 with 91.6% Grades 8 and 9.
Guildford High School students celebrated an outstanding set of A Level results on Thursday 16th August 2018. 43.4% of grades awarded were A*, with 94.5% of grades at A*-B. In a year group of 99, 68 students have achieved three or more A*/A grades, with 18 students achieving three or more A* grades.
Last week, Year 12 pupil Sophia from Kettering Buccleuch Academy was announced as winner of United Learning’s Group Art Competition for 2018.
This half-term, over 120 primary pupils from 16 United Learning schools got the chance to express their creativity through storytelling as part of StorySLAM.
Guildford High School has been named as the second best independent secondary school in the south east after 97.5% of A-Level students achieved A* to B grades and 96.8% of GCSE pupils earned A* to A grades.
