Paddington Academy’s Sixth Form has seen another ambitious cohort of students graduate – with university places secured on some of the UK’s most competitive courses.
The Department for Education has today announced its national network of 81 new teaching school hubs (TSH), which will include several United Learning academies. These hubs will provide high-quality professional development to teachers at all stages of their careers – from initial teacher training (ITT) and early careers support to national professional qualifications (NPQ).
Students at Paddington Academy are celebrating record results, with 82% of students achieving 4+ in both English and Maths and 56% gaining a 5+. In addition, 66 of the grades achieved by students were the new highest grade of 9, achieved by only 3% of students nationally, with 11 students achieving this in Maths. In addition to this, 36% of students achieved at least a Grade 7 in Maths.
Staff and students at Paddington Academy are today celebrating very high A Level results, continuing a trend of consistently high achievement for the last eight years.
Aspiring lawyers at Paddington Academy are being given a helping hand through a new partnership with leading barristers’ chambers, One Essex Court. The commercial chambers, whose barristers frequently appear in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, is working with the academy to help students embark on legal careers.
