Students at Glenmoor and Winton Academies are today celebrating another set of record GCSE results. 88% of students at Glenmoor Academy achieved A*-C grades (4 or above) in both English and maths. At Winton Academy, 78% of students achieved these grades.
The academies are equally delighted with the number of students achieving the government’s 5+ (B grade or above) threshold within English and maths. 77% of students at Glenmoor Academy achieved these challenging grades in both English and maths. At Winton Academy, 60% of students achieved these grades.
There were notable individual successes, including:
- Rohan Ewels 5 Grade 9s and 5 Grade 8s
- Beatrise Koritko 2 Grade 9s, 4 Grade 8s and 2 Grade 7s
- Jake Harvey 3 Grade 9s, 3 Grade 8s and 3 Grade 7s
- Phoebe Gentle 1 Grade 9, 5 Grade 8s and 3 Grade 7s
