Students at Midhurst Rother College were yesterday celebrating their GCSE results which come on top of A Level success a week ago.
Particularly pleasing was the number of students who achieved a high number of A/A* grades:

- Michael Dennis 8
- Danny Ellyatt-Child 8
- Ted Murray 8
- Imogen Reed 8
- Anja Blackwell 7
- Emily Spirit 7
- Holly Benham 6
- Gemma Brownbill 6
- Cameron Gibbon 6
- Sam Mansley 6
A further four students achieved 5 A/A* grades.
In total, 50% of students who followed their GCSE courses at Midhurst Rother College achieved 5+ A*-C grades including English and maths.
High performing subjects included Latin, Further Maths , ICT, Religion & Philosophy, Additional Science and Further Additional Science .
Dr Joe Vitagliano, Principal of Midhurst Rother College, said:
“I’d like to congratulate those students who are celebrating their results today. For many, these grades are the stepping stone they need to enter our 6th Form and provide a sound foundation for future employment and higher education.
“Over the past few years, we have become more specialist and academic in our approach so that students are receiving good grades in subjects that will really help them in the future.
“I offer our heartfelt thanks to our students for their focus and work ethic, and also to our teachers and support staff for the crucial role they played in helping these young people to the next stage of their education. Taken with last week’s A Level results the College is ready for the demands of the forthcoming academic year.”
