This summer, 65.1% of students achieved five or more A* to C grades including English and maths – up from 61% last year and 50% in 2012.
The proportion of the academy’s students achieving this headline measure is now more than five percentage points higher than the 2013 national average, consolidating and building upon an impressive 25 percentage point rise in the school’s results over the previous two years.
Craig Dillon, Head Teacher of Sheffield Park Academy, said:
'These results continue our strong progress as an academy and are testament to the hard work of students and staff. They come on top of some encouraging A Level results last week and demonstrate how we have moved forward as a school over the past few years. I am delighted for those students who are celebrating today and congratulate them on their success.'
