Jason Kenneally, Head Teacher of John Smeaton Academy, said:
“I am very pleased for all our students celebrating their results today, which reflect the improvements underway across the academy and in the core subjects of English and maths in particular. I know how hard students and staff alike have worked this year so it is gratifying to see outcomes improve. Today’s results, as well as our Sixth Form students’ achievements last week, provide a strong platform from which to build on in the new academic year.”
