“These are a fantastic set of results which signify a breakthrough year for the academy. For the number of students gaining five good GCSEs to jump 13 percentage points in just one year demonstrates the huge strides forward being made by the academy. Students and staff have worked incredibly hard all year and I am thrilled that all their hard work has paid off.
“These are exciting times at Swindon Academy and these results show how far we have come in recent years. We are never complacent and are always looking for ways of driving improvement so that every child achieves the very best they can. What is clear today is how hard so many of our students have worked and I am delighted so many are celebrating their achievements today.”
