Pupils at High Hazels Academy in Darnall celebrated the opening of their brand new nursery, the Oaks, on Wednesday 17th October.
Pupils from The Victory Primary School are celebrating after two of their football teams were victorious at the Portsmouth Schools 7 Aside Cup Competition. The Under 10s Team won the Landport Cup whilst the Under 11s won the Jeffries Cup. Both competitions were held at Portsmouth Grammar School at the end of September.
A disused piece of land was given a makeover for students at Nova Hreod Academy thanks to a team of volunteers from car leasing company Arval UK. The company, a major local employer based in West Swindon, has partnered with the Academy for just over a year, providing a range of support from interview skills, CV writing and work experience placements to showcasing alternative energy vehicles.

Last week, as pupils in Oxfordshire returned to school after the summer holidays, pupils at Pegasus Primary School, Orchard Meadow Primary School and Windale Primary School marked a new chapter as they joined United Learning. The schools in the Blackbird and Greater Leys estates, which were formerly part of the Blackbird Academy Trust, have joined United Learning which has a number of Oxfordshire schools including North Oxfordshire Academy and Hanwell Fields Community School.
