Data Protection and Wonde

Our preferred method of setting United Curriculum up with your teacher data is via Wonde which means there is no administrative burden on schools to ensure their teachers can access United Curriculum. Using Wonde allows us to connect to your MIS so we can auto-identify any teachers at your school when they try to log in – new teachers will gain access automatically if they are present in your MIS.

About Wonde

We have partnered with Wonde, who are currently used by over 21,000 schools across the UK, Australia, New Zealand and British international schools worldwide.

Using Wonde enables you to connect and synchronise your Management Information System (MIS) to United Curriculum. Once the information is synced, United Curriculum will be able to identify teachers automatically when they attempt to log in so you will not need to manually maintain who should have access.

Data security

United Curriculum must ensure that any third party that handles data on our behalf is also suitably compliant.

To comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act, Wonde provides the tools to ensure that schools are in complete control and have clarity of what data is being accessed by third parties.

At United Curriculum, we only request the exact data from a school’s MIS that you need to use United Curriculum. Everything is audited, and your school can see details of the permissions granted, who approved them, their position in school and the date/time that they were approved.

You can also remove the connection at any time.

Data categories

If you choose to sync with Wonde, you only need to give permission to the minimum settings required to add your teachers.

The minimum fields required to sync with our system are:

School Name
Employee First Name
Employee Surname
Employee Email address

If you would like to set up the Wonde connection with these minimum requirements and need support, please contact curriculumsupport@unitedlearning.org.uk.

If you do not want to sync your teachers at this time and have already received a request, we can cancel the invitation through the portal to stop you from receiving follow-up emails.
